Hi, Y'all,

Well, we all went to Destin and stayed at 16--E. What a luxurious condo! It was too nice to rent out----so we enjoyed it immensely.First we put all the Objects d'Art way up where the kids couldn't reach them. The moire wallpaper in the bath was a treat. What elegance. As Liza Doolittle would say, "Too nice for the loikes of us." But I digress.

We were so glad that we went early this year and saw one of the jewels of God's creation before the oil mess got there. The beach was clean,the water lovely,the sea oats, a perfect stay.(Capt. Dave's needs to learn to make a decent Martini though.)

The kids enjoyed the pool so much. Everything was clean, in order, and the people were so nice.

Chateau La Mer Condominiums are located on beautiful Scenic Gulf Highway 98. Across from the white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, residents enjoy deeded beach access, tennis courts, swimming pool and a cozy clubhouse.

THE POOL WAS RECENTLY REFURBISHED WITH BLUE QUARTZ CRYSTALS AND NEW BLUE TILES. IT IS HEATED IN THE WINTER TO 84 DEGREES. WINTER HOURS ARE 10AM - 4PM.

1. THE DESTIN FIRE MARSHALL PROHIBITS THE USE OF GRILLS, HIBACHIS, ETC. ON DECKS OR PATIOS OF INDIVIDUAL UNITS. GRILLING IS PERMITTED ONLY IN AREAS WHERE GRILLS ARE PROVIDED.

2. FOR THOSE WITH LAPTOP COMPUTERS WITH BUILT IN WIRELESS CAPABILITY, YOU CAN GET INTERNET ACCESS IN THE CLUBHOUSE AND ALONG THE POOL DECK. A WIRELESS ROUTER HAS BEEN INSTALLED IN THE CHATEAU LA MER OFFICE THAT WILL PROVIDE COMPLIMENTARY WIFI SERVICE. THE ASSOCIATION DOES NOT PROVIDE FREE WIFI SERVICE IN INDIVIDUAL UNITS. UNIT OWNERS MAY OR MAY NOT PROVIDE THIS SERVICE.

3. TERMINIX HAS THE CONTRACT FOR PEST CONTROL FOR CHATEAU LA MER. THEY TREAT AROUND THE EXTERIOR PERIMETER OF THE BUILDINGS. SHOULD YOU NEED ADDITIONAL SERVICE BECAUSE OF A PROBLEM INSIDE, PLEASE CONTACT TERMINIX AT 678-7840. TELL THEM YOU LIVE AT CHATEAU LA MER, GIVE THEM YOUR UNIT NUMBER, THE NATURE OF THE PROBLEM, AND COORDINATE WITH THEM FOR A TREATMENT TIME AND DATE.
